Artistic installation #6000zpt

The artistic-solidarity installation created by using shoes from the inhabitants of Vitoria-Gasteiz and its surroundings. These shoes arise from the hedge sculpture located in the heart of Gasteiz, with the city council’s collaboration, creating organic forms of a living and dynamic organism.

The work aims to create an artistic-community-critical movement to demonstrate the importance of unity. The common struggle against inequality with the decadent situation of culture and with the social injustice happening in the city; at the hands of a government that is dividing the people, by attacking the poorest.

Each pair of shoes, one person; creating inter-personal ties of struggle and evolution.

The work also encourages recycling through the re-use with a beneficial spirit and  inspired heated debates on social networks.
